Holly Hauser, LPA, HSP-PA
Holly Hauser, LPA is co-owner of Carolina Psychology Center. She completed her B.S. in Psychology with a Minor in Music from UNC Charlotte. She earned her Master’s degree in Clinical Psychology at Appalachian State University. Holly is licensed to practice psychology by the North Carolina Psychology Board. She has experience working in a variety of settings, including community mental health, University Counseling Center, psychology assessment clinic, school psychology, and private practice. Holly is excited to be providing psychological services in Charlotte, NC and in her home state of NC. Holly has worked with clients of all ages, including children, teens, college students, and adults.
Holly is passionate about working with children who are experiencing anxiety, behavioral concerns (acting out), school/learning challenges, ADHD, and depression. She utilizes a structured, family-based approach in treatment, involving the parents in treatment planning. Holly also works with teens, college students, and young adults, particularly in navigating life transitions, stress, anxiety, and relationship concerns. She also specifically offers psychological testing for ADHD, Specific Learning Disability, Intellectual Disability, and those who may be academically gifted. Holly’s goal is to help her clients identify and explore unhelpful thoughts, feelings, and behaviors so they can live the life they desire! Holly is a member of the Mecklenburg County Psychological Association. She runs a therapist networking group with Jayme, and created and runs a group for testing psychologists. Holly and Jayme enjoy growing the practice together and mentoring psychology students. In Holly’s free time, she enjoys traveling, singing, trying new restaurants, and spending time with family and friends.
